My Travel Memories series asks a deceptively simple question: what does a place actually feel like? Not the single frame, the hero shot, the postcard - but the whole layered, sensory, half-remembered experience of being there. Each image is built from dozens of my own photographs of a destination, composited into something that hovers beautifully between photography and painting.

The results are immersive and alive. Vivid with colour in one image, quietly atmospheric in the next - each piece carries its own mood, shaped by the light, the season, and the feeling of that particular place. You'll find yourself leaning in, noticing details that surface and dissolve, like fragments of a dream you almost remember.

I moved to the Kāpiti Coast in 2021 and found in its calm coastal beauty a fitting home for this reflective, wandering body of work.
